Northam’s Avon Valley Speedway has a rich history, and that is set to continue, thanks to the recent announcement that the Northam Motorplex has begun negotiations with the Northam Council to transfer the lease to the Perth TQ Car Club to operate as Avon Valley Speedway as a non-for-profit association.

ALTHOUGH the progress of the relaunch of the Northam Motorplex has been hindered in recent years, track owner Rick Musarra remains optimistic about the track being up and running in the not too distant future.

It might be taking a bit longer than originally anticipated, but the Northam Motorplex team is committed to opening the track when it’s 100% ready to go and they are currently in the process of a complete rebuild of the track’s safety fence wall and catch fence.

Racer Contracting (RC) are seeking suitable MC Heavy Vehicle operators to join our team.

Starting to get a bit of equipment together for the construction phase and then carry on to grounds maintenance and track preparation. Hopefully when October arrives and weather improves, we can start on-site.
